Some more details on Krishna's and Rita's aid trip into Rasuwa that got them about as far as you can get with vehicles, almost all the way to Dunche. They bought and brought to around 200 people basic cooking and eating utensils - each person received a cooking pot, a plate, utensils, a water glass and a water jug. The cost per person was around 650 NR, or $6.50. They also brought blankets, which were donated by the Nepali Club of Pokhara, and salt, donated by the Nepali Red Cross. Renting the truck and jeep to carry the goods cost around 40,000 NR, or around $400. So the total cost was around $1700. Next trip is planned for Dhading, closer to Kathmandu but also a badly hit hill area that traditionally has been underdeveloped and under-served.
