Krishna and Rita are bringing more supplies, including school materials, tents and roofing materials, cooking utensils, blankets to Northern Gorkha, near the epicenter of the quake, to Barpak, Laprak and Uhiya VDC in the Buddha Himal, on the southern flanks of the Manaslu Himal. They are doing heroic work, unhindered by the government as they are doing all the work themselves, with donations, local labor and volunteers, renting vehicles and then taking supplies on foot when needed. Will post pictures when I get them. For those interested in keeping up on what is needed where, go to the website quakmap.org. You can also get in touch with the Yellow House, an ad hoc aid and relief center that is hacking the government/NGO system and delivering directly to those in need. Yellow House is located in Sanepa, a neighborhood in Lalitpur (Patan).
