Haven't posted for a few days as things have settled into something of a lull. A lull before what ...? Krishna has been waiting in Pokhara for three days now for tents, tarpaulins, plastic sheets, anything that can be used to make temporary shelter that will last a few months. Impossible to find. He's even thinking about aluminum or tin roofing. I wrote to North Face asking them to donate tents or materials, as they have factories in China and Bangladesh. No word back from them yet.
So until the next news from Krishna, here are some more photos from the aid trip to Rasuwa.

Rita: Krishna in the background in the black jacket. Strange how the house on the hill looks like something you would see in the hills around Los Angeles.
And here just a hundred feet or so down the road - you can still see the same house on the hill and the jeeps on the road - you can see what the earthquake did to a dwelling constructed with a weaker design.
