Awaiting Comey...

Well, now that I am somewhat over my Alex Honnold "Freerider" jag, though not completely (his book "Alone on the Wall" just arrived via Amazon), I can now focus on James Comey's testimony to the Senate Russia Investigation Panel. This feels like Watergate testimony, which I can sorta remember though it was a long time ago and I was not very old. Like Watergate, the Russia investigation is happening now during the summer months, and given his pre-testimony statement issued today, there are plenty of questions to be asked of Trump, and of Comey as well. Obstruction of justice by Trump has clearly happened, to go along with other crimes and misdemeanors that he has racked up so far in this disgustingly corrupt and inept regime. He bought the presidency, courtesy Russia. But how long can he hang on to it until, like a tin-pot dictator, his rants and megalomania bring the whole thing down. He doesn't understand democracy, and is taking a wrecking ball to it, to our country, the environment, to the poor and working classes, and to the world. Please, for the sake of all that is good and hopeful in this world, let this brief nightmare end soon.
